I have been visiting today a new kind of exhibition.
If I had to sum up, I would say that you will find out how a piece of high jewellery is made, from seeking inspiration in the archives to bringing the final enhancing touches to a collection. But it is about much more !

Vendôrama celebrates 160 years of history and the unique savoir faire of the well known jewellery house Boucheron, first contemporary jeweller of the Place Vendôme.

Created in 1858 by Frédéric Boucheron, the Maison was built through four generations of direct descendants. As a visionary jeweller, Boucheron has devoted years to creating the classics of tomorrow.

In 1893, appointments take place in private rooms in mansions but Frédéric Boucheron was forward-thinking and intuitive. He moved his boutique to 26 place Vendôme in Paris.

Since Boucheron was established, it has been rewarded for its innovative works The Maison's rich archives continue to inspire Boucheron in its will to create the classics of tomorrow.

In 1888, he creates the first Serpent necklace, a little treasure in the form of a protective spirit animal wrapped around the neck, crafted for his wife Gabrielle and destined to become one of the house’s iconic designs.

Discover Boucheron in a contemporary and immersive scenography that combines natural environment with digital experience. You will meet Wladimir the cat of the founder considered as a lucky charm in virtual reality.
The exhibition is interactive, you will be able to take part in the jeweller universe.

The exhibition held in a temporary architectural structure; its a modern interpretation and a tribute to the Universal Exhibitions, as the design is inspired by the Eiffel structures. The exhibition’s organization and decor reinterpret the Exposition Universelle world’s fairs held in Paris during the late 19th century.
