This is not about just another concept store !

Far away from the standards and overrated shops , Empreintes is the concept store for fine crafts in Paris.

Located in the heart of the Marais close to the Carreau du Temple, this highly thought of space is a midway between a gallery, a workshop and a shop.

The atmosphere is a cool and calm.

In French we would say "une ambiance feutrée" that means an atmosphere calm and elegant.

But overall you enter in this well balanced space without being neither intimidated nor pushing to the spending.

Empreintes offers a selection of varied items made in the workshops of French creators: decoration, lighting, culinary arts, jewellery and furniture.

More than 1000 objects, unique pieces or small series in a beautiful building bathed in light, in a natural and elegant scenography.

Pictures of the artists' workspaces and ateliers just as explanations about their individual experiences often come with the items.

To feel like at home, a café is situated at the heart of this 600m2 space, a library, and cosy comfortable sofas.

Whether it is for a beautiful object, a gift idea, or a precious and remarkable item, Empreintes will seduce the curious as well as the insiders or collectors.

New creations are added to the store every four months so do not hesitate to come back again and again, even just for a perfect break in the coffee Season, the library or the projection room dedicated to the craft practices.

This boutique-workshop is an initiative of France Art Workshops to promote the arts and crafts industry in France. All items are made in France.
