It was a strange menagerie that had invaded the museum of hunting and nature.

A Carnival of naturalized or sculpted animals, orchestrated by Sophie Calle.

By dedicating this exhibition to his outstanding father art collector disappeared in 2015, Sophie Calle wanted to mix autobiography and fiction.

Result: a cabinet of artistic and poetic curiosities.

The Museum, transformed for the occasion into a real playground, hosted emblematic works of Sophie Calle, but also specially designed parts for the exhibition with her guest Serena Carone.

Sophie Calle iconoclast and unclassifiable artsist, hippie, activist or stripper is nicknamed by the New York Times "the most French of artists".

Calle’s work often features family and friends.

Of her parents she says, “They really were my life.

I love her poker-faced humor !

Moving through the photos or memories of her father, and making fun with the little dating ads she has collected since 1895 in the "French Hunter" magazine (logic in the museum of hunting), newspapers or social networks, that is the whimsical and poignant experience that she offers in the enchanting setting of my favorite museum.
