If the magic was in the unexpected ?

Many people, even Parisians themselves, ignore this fascinating little museum very traditional in its decor but very modern in its presentation.

Far from the small, musty, run-down with old hunting uniforms or moldy taxidermied foxes museum you may imagine , the place is actually fascinating, through a gorgeous renovation a few years ago.

The museum is housed within the Hotel de Guénégaud, the only private mansion designed by architect Francois Mansart that still exists.

Consider it as a cabinet of curiosities with many different rooms to explore. Paintings, sculptures, ceramics, trophies, furnishings taxidermy, reconstruction of a old hunting lodge... an intriguing and beautiful place for all kind of audience.
